Katie made a miracle happen. She was able to secure a wedding license in 4 days and book the beautiful Copenhagen City Hall for early the following week. By December 22nd, the couple was happily married. We decided to get married so I (an American) could move over to Ireland to be with him. After rounds of paperwork we were still unable to get married in a reasonable timeframe in Germany because we are both from third countries that are doing awful with corona and not from the EU. This makes it almost impossible to be together or marry. After a friend had a quick, easy, and wonderful experience with this company we decided to give it a try. The location we went to, Stevns Denmark, was super quaint and beautiful, and traveling 5 minutes to the seaside was well worth it. We were greeted on a Saturday by the mayor herself who married us. They were so hospitable and welcoming at Stevns and gave us a special gift from their town! The ceremony was meaningful but also very fast, 10 minutes in total. We were just feeling good and taking pictures and then noticed our paperwork was incorrect for our personal information on the certificate. We managed to track down the mayor at another ceremony and they were quite helpful, fixing our paperwork for us on a Saturday for which we were grateful. Overall this was an amazing and wonderful experience filled with solutions to any of our problems that came up or any hurdles we had been trying to manage. We came across ‘Marry Abroad Simply’ online after discovering that Denmark is considered to be the ‘Vegas of Europe’ and also we were both hugely excited to visit and get married in Copenhagen.
